Our friends invited us out to a winery tour in Western Maryland. We got a brief tour of the winery followed by a private wine tasting in a tent behind the vinyards. Good thing we were under a tent in the shade because it was a hot day! We spent the rest of the afternoon with a few chilled bottles, enjoying the sun setting behind the winery. I had taken a few photos of the winery and the wine tasting, but thought this one of our friend, Keith, with a butterfly catcher [have no clue who brought this!] was more fun.

A hot and sunny Friday afternoon. Before heading out for the night, I snapped a picture of the sun shining behind a flower busy in my backyard. You can almost feel the hot sun... :-)

Another self portrait of what I have been spending most of my free time doing lately - photo editing. I've been slowly working my way through all of the 2,000 vacation photos I took. Plus the noise cancelling headphones to tune out the blaring sound of my husband playing guitar. :-)

Bridal shower yesterday, baby shower today. I am definitely showered out! But still, it was fun to "ooh" and "aah" over all the cute little baby clothes and soft toys. It was tough to choose a photo, but the bears on these cute little shoes spoke to me (of course).
