Anyone else finding a bit of difficulty with inspiration these days? 6+ months through and I'm starting to struggle if there aren't any events or activities going on. My husband came up with this idea. Movement from a ceiling fan in our family room. Not bad, but I'm going to need to start thinking harder for ideas.

I grabbed this shot on the way home from my photography club meeting. I have driven past this local community center numerous times. It is a cool building - kind of looks like an old castle. I took a couple different shots of the front of the building illuminated at night, but liked the shadows and textures of this image the best.

I went out for a little walk around my neighborhood after work today. It finally felt like spring! With the sun shining, I thought it might be fun to play around with the idea of taking a "self-portrait" using my shadow. The photo ended up working particularly well for this month's monochrome theme.
